Dr. Jerry Rubano | Deputy Presiding Officer Kara Hahn’s Honoree

Legislator Kara Hahn would like to honor Jerry Rubano, MD, Trauma/Acute Care/Surgical Critical Care in the Department of Surgery at Stony Brook Medicine.

Dr, Rubano provided exceptional critical care management of Covid positive patients throughout the pandemic.  Dr. Rubano and his team at Stony Brook University Hospital worked around the clock to care for the sickest patients in Suffolk County.  He was truly a remarkable trauma surgeon who stepped up and was an amazing member of a spectacular team.
