MOUNT SINAI, NY – On Tuesday, October 1st at 6:30 PM, Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker, the North Shore Neighbors Breast Cancer Coalition and the Heritage Trust will be hosting a tree lighting ceremony for the Pink Tree for Hope at the North Shore Heritage Park in Mount Sinai. “Having lost my grandmother from breast cancer, I am honored to partner with the North Shore Neighbors Breast Cancer Coalition and the Heritage Trust to raise awareness about the prevalence of breast cancer, honor our loved ones lost to breast cancer, and support survivors across Long Island,” said Legislator Anker. “I thank Patti Kozlowski and the North Shore Neighbors for their important work to help breast cancer patients, survivors, and their families in our local communities. I also thank the Heritage Trust and Koch Tree Services for their generous sponsorship.”
