Hauppauge, NY, February 13th, 2019: On Wednesday, February 13th, Suffolk County Legislator Kevin McCaffrey welcomed the Lindenhurst High School Varsity Football team to the General Meeting of the Legislature.
At the December 13th General Meeting of the County Legislature, Legislator Kevin McCaffrey welcomed his hometown Lindenhurst Bulldogs to be recognized as 2018 Suffolk County Champions. The Bulldogs had just finished another historic season, once again being crowned Suffolk County Champions
The Championship Bulldogs were each presented with a proclamation from Legislator McCaffrey, and both Legislator McCaffrey and head coach Nick Lombardo took to the podium to congratulate the team and express thanks to the Legislature for hosting them and recognizing their achievements.
The team gathered for a photo in the horseshoe, where Legislator McCaffrey joined Superintendent Daniel Giordano and other school faculty to document the occasion.
Legislator McCaffrey represents Suffolk County’s 14th Legislative District which encompasses the Village of Lindenhurst, Babylon Village, the hamlets of West Babylon and North Lindenhurst, portions of Copiague, North Babylon and Babylon’s barrier beach communities.
