(Hauppauge, NY) – Suffolk County Legislator Sam Gonzalez took the oath of office for his first full term as Legislator for the 9th District at last week’s Organizational Meeting of the Legislature.
“I am truly humbled to have been re-elected to serve the people of this district. I look forward to working hard to keep Suffolk County moving forward,” said Legislator Gonzalez.
Legislator Gonzalez won the November 5th election with 75% of the vote. His District includes Brentwood, Central Islip, and North Bay Shore.
Gonzalez’s goals as a legislator are to promote local economic growth, facilitate business creation and expansion, revitalize downtowns, improve services for our youth, seniors and veterans, and preserve the environment.
