Suffolk Leg. Tom Donnelly Collecting Eyeglasses for ‘Caitlyn’s Vision’

Caitlyn's Vision: Helping Children See a Better Future

“Caitlyn’s Vision” an organization started by a young girl diagnosed with Bilateral Anterior, Bilateral Uveitis, is seeking eyeglasses, sunglasses and eyeglass cases so that they may be refurbished by an ophthalmologist and given to people in need at no cost and Suffolk Legislator Tom Donnelly is proud to have his office serve as an official drop-off location for this heartwarming initiative.

The organization was started by 9-year-old Caitlyn to “promote eye health, help preserve vision and ease the burden of financial hardship caused by vision disease in children.” Eyeglasses can be dropped off at Legislator Donnelly’s district office, 130 West Jericho Turnpike in Huntington Station, Monday through Friday, 9 am – 4 pm.

“I applaud young Caitlyn for bringing attention to this very important issue,” said Legislator Donnelly. “I am proud to support this wonderful cause and I encourage all those who can to come down to my office and donate.”
