Suffolk County Legislator Tom Donnelly joined town, county and state elected officials at the annual Half Hollow Hills School District PTA Legislative Breakfast on February 6 at the Fran Greenspan Administrative Building In Dix Hills.
The always-anticipated event is presented by the Half Hollow Hills PTA Legislation Committee, chaired this year by Tina Shek who also serves as PTA Council President. The breakfast is an opportunity for students, administrators, teachers and parents from Half Hollow Hills to meet, question and talk with their elected officials in a non-formal, comfortable group setting.
“It is important that we ensure our young people are engaged in government,” said Legislator Donnelly. “This always wonderful annual breakfast is a testament to the Half Hollow Hills School District’s efforts to keep its students and the entire community informed and I thank everyone involved for a great morning.”
