Deputy Presiding Officer Kara Hahn recognized Old Field Village Mayor Michael Levine during the Village Board’s most recent work session for his service to the community. Mayor Levine was elected to the Village’s top post in 2008, and following twelve years of service to the residents of Old Field will leave office on March 31st following the decision not to seek reelection.
During his distinguished tenure, Mayor Levine oversaw numerous projects within the Village, including restoration of its Nineteenth century lighthouse while working with village residents, members of the Village Board and the Village’s municipal partners to serve the needs of his constituents.
