“Legislator Piccirillo collaborates with local business owner to provide lunch to Law Enforcement Officers”
With help from a local small business owner, Legislator Piccirillo showed his support for local Law Enforcement Officers on Thursday; by bringing the brave men and women of the Suffolk County Police Department’s 5th precinct a catered lunch. The lunch included wraps, pasta salads, deli salads and drinks, generously donated by Bohemia resident Alphonse Lentz III of Lentz Events.
“I was happy to bring the hard working men and women of the Suffolk County Police Department lunch today” said Legislator Piccirillo. “Within the past 6 months these brave men and women of Law Enforcement were on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic and now are faced with the civil unrest in our country” added the Legislator. During these unprecedented times, it is important to keep the morale high within our local Law Enforcement Departments. “Little acts of kindness, like delivering lunch to these hard working men and women show that our community stands with them” said the Legislator.
“I was happy to collaborate with Al Lentz of Lentz Events, he is a huge supporter of law enforcement and comes from a law enforcement family. He has generously donated thousands of dollars’ worth of food to the men in women in blue over the past few months” said Legislator Piccirillo. “I am very happy to give back to the Suffolk County Police Department, for all they do for our community” said Alphonse Lentz of Bohemia. “I choose to continue to donate food in memory of my late brother, Mississippi State Trooper Eric Lentz” added the small business owner. The Legislator and Small Business Owner vow to continue to collaborate together in the future to support our local Law Enforcement Officers.
