The 8th Legislative District is excited to announce Legislator Piccirillo's 1st annual winter coat drive!
Together in partnerships with some great local community groups and organizations my office will be collecting new and lightly used winter coats for those less fortunate.
2020 has been hard on all of us, so when you are cleaning out your coat closet this winter season please keep the 8th Legislative District Coat Drive in Mind.
“As always the response from the community has been unbelievable; I represent some of the most generous people in Suffolk County" said Legislator Piccirillo.
"Every time we have a community outreach program it is always a great success thanks to our community" he added. “So far we have collected over 25 coats since we announced this coat drive last week" Legislator Piccirillo continued.
Legislator Piccirillo's office will be collecting coats at the 8th LD office located at 1609 Grundy Ave, Holbrook 11741.
You can drop off the coats Monday- Friday; 9am- 5pm. Due to COVID-19 please drop off the items in the designated box in front of my office. Coats will be collected throughout December and January.
All items will be sanitized before they are donated.
