Every year the 8th Legislative District comes together and collects handmade Valentine’s Day Cards for Veterans and Active Duty Military Personnel.
My Staff and I would like to continue the tradition for the second year in a row; and give back to our local heroes.
As a member of the Suffolk County Veterans Committee; my office will be paying special attention to the Veterans in our community.
Over the next few weeks my office will be collecting Valentine’s Day Cards that will be delivered to Veterans and Active Duty Military Personnel on Long Island. My Legislative Office will serve as a drop off point.
We are working with multiple local Veterans Originations to ensure these cards will be delivered to Veterans within our community. We will be collecting the Valentine’s Day cards until Friday February 10th 2021.
