April 5, 2021 –Legislator Leslie Kennedy recognizes that small businesses are the economic engine for the 12th Legislative District and Suffolk County. Legislator Kennedy wants them to succeed and is providing the below resources and contacts who may be able to assist them during this Covid-19 economic pandemic.
Most recently, the Payment Protection Program (PPP) has been extended to May 31, 2021. A PPP loan is a Small Business Administration (SBA) backed loan designed to provide a direct incentive for small businesses to keep their workers on payroll. Borrowers may be eligible for PPP loan forgiveness.
