Legislator Kennedy Provides COVID-19 Relief Resources to Small Businesses

April 5, 2021 –Legislator Leslie Kennedy recognizes that small businesses are the economic engine for the 12th Legislative District and Suffolk County. Legislator Kennedy wants them to succeed and is providing the below resources and contacts who may be able to assist them during this Covid-19 economic pandemic. 

 

Most recently, the Payment Protection Program (PPP) has been extended to May 31, 2021. A PPP loan is a Small Business Administration (SBA) backed loan designed to provide a direct incentive for small businesses to keep their workers on payroll. Borrowers may be eligible for PPP loan forgiveness.

 

There are many other Covid-19 Relief Options that the Long Island Small Business Development Centers can provide, including free counseling. If you would like to speak with a counselor, please contact one of the below listed Small Business Development Centers:
