SHOREHAM, NY – Legislator Sarah Anker recently attended a Shoreham-Wading River School District Board of Education meeting to recognize outstanding students from the district. The students recognized were those who excelled in areas such as academics, music, athletics, community service and school involvement. Students and their parents and guardians attended the meeting as students were presented with certificates from Legislator Anker.
I want to thank our schools, of course our parents, and the community who support our children,
said Legislator Anker. To the students here today and especially those graduating seniors, follow your passion and do what you love to do because the doors will open up for you. Congratulations to all of the outstanding Shoreham-Wading River students who continued to excel beyond expectation during a challenging school year.

Shoreham-Wading River High School’s Valedictorians, Owen Beran and Mika Misawa, and Salutatorian Daniel Julian
