(Smithtown, NY)…Suffolk County Legislators Rob Trotta and Leslie Kennedy joined members of the Greater Smithtown Chamber of Commerce and the staff at Artis for the grand opening of Artis Senior Living of Commack --- its first memory care facility in Suffolk County. Artis is the only freestanding memory care community in Commack with 64 private suites for residents. “I know first-hand how important this type of facility is to the community as my father has dementia so I am very grateful that such a place exists right here in Commack for people and their families,” said Suffolk County Legislator Rob Trotta.
