September 24, 2017 – Though it is late September, the
sun is still beating down as if it were summer. Last Sunday, during our Indian
summer in Centereach, Legislator Kennedy was out in full force to collect blood
at the Centereach Day Fair. The Legislator also operated an information table,
with pertinent government information as well as information on addiction and
other problems ailing society.
New York Blood Center was able to
assist 48 people and collect 36 pints of blood. “I am so thankful for all the
hard work put in by the Centereach Civic Association in order to put together
this blood drive,” said Legislator Kennedy. “I am also thankful for New York
Blood Center and all the donors who came out on this hot day.”
