MOUNT SINAI, NY – On Monday, August 9th, Suffolk County Legislator Anker thanked Robert Julius Condemi and Demeter Fragrance Library for their generous donation of hand sanitizer to first responders in Suffolk County. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Demeter Fragrance Library was closed as a non-essential business. In response to the growing need in the community for sanitizing products, Demeter Fragrance Library changed their manufacturing operations and were approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to produce hand sanitizer at their facility.
While the COVID-19 pandemic brought great challenges to the businesses in our community, some businesses like Demeter Fragrance Library channeled their creativity and found ways to continue their operations while also providing a community need,
said Legislator Anker. Thank you to Robert Julius Condemi and Demeter Fragrance Library for their generous donation of hand sanitizers to our first responders and for providing another source of sanitizing products for our community.
Thank you to Legislator Anker for all that she has done to support our community, especially during the pandemic,
said Robert Julius Condemi. I love this town and wanted to find a way to give the little that I can back to our first responders, who have been true heroes this last year.
