Becomes Member of the Suffolk County Legislature
Commack, N.Y. - Manuel Esteban, Sr. - Esq. reached another milestone on his ‘American Dream’ Journey on January 3, 2022 when he became a Member of the Suffolk County Legislature.
As a first generation American, Mr. Esteban learned early on the values of Freedom and Liberty from his father who fled the Castro regime in Cuba. Now, as the father of seven and an Eagle Scout, Manuel instills those ideals in his own children.
His election follows other important milestones on his ‘American Dream’ Journey. In his late thirties, Manuel earned his Juris Doctor Degree attending Law School at night, and is licensed to practice law in New York and New Jersey. More recently, he served as Chairman of the Huntington Hispanic Task Force. He is honored to have received recognition from United States Presidents and Vice-Presidents for his community service.
Regarding his new position in County Government, Legislator Esteban said, "I view my role as having dual responsibilities. In the community, I will focus on providing everyone the best constituent service. I believe being fluent bilingual and bicultural in English and Spanish enables me to represent everyone in all areas.
In the Legislature, I will be a bridge to civility, striving to bring both sides together to solve our important problems.”
Manny Esteban epitomizes the present-day Renaissance Man: He has achieved the perfect balance between a successful, multi-faceted career and a rewarding personal life built on traditional family values.
