LINDENHURST, NY, October 17, 2017: On Tuesday, October 10, 2017, Legislator Kevin McCaffrey and his office hosted a one on one meeting with constituents to speak with them about community issues most important to them.
He spent one-on-one time with several residents before opening the meeting up for a group question and answer session. The event took place at the American Legion Post 94 in Babylon Village.
“I was able to meet and speak with several residents about some of the issues they see in the community, particularly the red light camera program, the opioid epidemic and the high cost of living on Long Island,” said Legislator McCaffrey. “It is important for me as a Legislator to listen to the constituents and raise awareness regarding some of the most pressing issues we are dealing with in the Suffolk County Legislature.
Legislator McCaffrey represents Suffolk County’s 14th Legislative District which encompasses the Village of Lindenhurst, Babylon Village, the hamlets of West Babylon and North Lindenhurst, portions of Copiague, North Babylon and Babylon’s barrier beach communities.
