Legislator Anthony Piccirillo Hosts Spring Sayville Cleanup In Honor Of Earth Day

On Saturday April 23rd, I was happy to partner with the Sayville Chamber of Commerce , Sayville Civic, Sayville Junior Civic, Sayville Rotary and many other local community groups for our annual Spring Sayville Cleanup.

It was one of our largest spring cleanups to date with over 70 volunteers! All of the volunteers helped to pick up litter and debris from around Sayville which included parking lots, sumps, roadways, Main Street, the railroad station and creeks. The hard work from our Volunteers left Sayville looking fabulous! Thank you to all of our Volunteers!

A special thank you to the Long Island Conservancy who held a native plant sale during our cleanup !

It was a terrific day, and a great way to help celebrate Earth Day.
