Legislator Steven J. Flotteron recognized James Thomas Buonincontri of Troop 205 as their 99th Eagle Scout in a ceremony held at Timber Point Elementary School in East Islip. James earned the rank of Eagle Scout by demonstrating leadership with his service project by developing, planning and implementing the putting together of 250 first aid/COVID kits for the St. Peter’s Community Outreach for those in need. He is a junior at the East Islip High School, where he has held High Honor Roll status.
