Brightwaters Family Recognized for Their Years of Service to Summer Camp

Fiori Dedication

Legislator Steven J. Flotteron was honored to recognize Mario Fiori and his family at Southward Ho Country Club’s Dedication of The Fiori Family Camp House to memorialize their many years of service. Mario taught Physical Education in the North Babylon School District for more than

30 years until recently retiring. During those years, he never took time off, instead he was the Camp Director for Southward Ho every summer for 150 to 250 campers per season! He and his wife, Heidi, raised six children in Brightwaters who were involved in their own way, helping him to run a successful and fun camp for all who attended.
