Suffolk County Legislator Manuel Esteban, Sr., Jacqueline Franco, Stony Brook Development Center Business Advisor and John Schneidawin, Suffolk County Economic Development Chief of Business Development, team up to host the first ever “Introduction to Entrepreneurship Workshop” to help new and experienced entrepreneurs learn first-hand about the necessary steps to start a business, the latest resources to start and grow your business and how and where to gain access to capital.
According to a recent business report, small businesses are the backbone of the American economy and not only are the majority of jobs in the United States created by small businesses, but they are a major source of innovation, economic growth and prosperity.
