Legislator Trish Bergin will be hosting a Shed the Meds prescription drug collection event alongside the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department on Saturday, September 16, 2023, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
This event will take place in the parking lot of Central Islip High School, located at 85 Wheeler Road, Central Islip NY 11722.
Medications can be brought as-in bottles or bags and do not have to be sorted. All medication donations will be incinerated. Please do not bring liquids or needles. Appointment are not necessary.
