Suffolk County Legislator Rob Trotta Congratulates Smithtown’s Newest Eagle Scout, Eoghan McCarroll

 

 

 

Smithtown, NY)…Suffolk County Legislator Robert Trotta recently congratulated Eoghan McCarroll of Smithtown for achieving the esteemed rank of Eagle Scout at his Eagle Court of Honor. He is a member of Boy Scout Troop 565.

 

 

 

For his Eagle Scout Project, Eoghan designed and built a large animal proof garbage and recycling container enclosure for the Smithtown Historical Society. He also painted the shed like building and lettered one door for waste and the other for cans and bottles, which will be recycled.

 

 

 

“The many accomplishments you have achieved on your road to becoming an Eagle Scout demonstrate your outstanding character, your ability to work with others and your skills at being a leader. In addition, this rank is a recognition that will stay with you for the rest of your life,” said Suffolk County Legislator Rob Trotta, who represents the district. “What you have done is very impressive and we all expect great things from you in the future,” added Legislator Trotta.

 

 

 

At the Eagle Court of Honor Legislator Trotta presented Eagle Scout Eoghan McCarroll with a proclamation recognizing his achievement.

Legislator Robert Trotta represents the 13th Legislative District, which includes Smithtown, Fort Salonga, Kings Park, San Remo, Nissequogue, Head of the Harbor, and St. James, as well as most of East Northport and parts of Northport and Commack.

 

 

 

Legislator Trotta serves on the Legislature’s Economic Development, Parks & Recreation and Veterans Committees.
