As the newly-appointed chair of the Legislature’s Education & Human Services Committee, Suffolk Legislator Tom Donnelly (D-Huntington Station) seized an opportunity to recently visit the Ammerman Campus of Suffolk County Community College (SCCC) in Selden where he discussed current programs, plans and the vision for the three-campus college system with SCCC President Shaun L. McKay and his leadership team. The visit also served as a homecoming for Legislator Donnelly who is a proud graduate of SCCC. “Suffolk County Community College is an educational jewel that provides an affordable higher-learning option for local residents,” said Legislator Donnelly. “I know this firsthand as a proud graduate, and I am pleased that my position as chair of the Education & Human Services Committee will allow me to work directly with my fellow legislators to ensure that the college continues to have all of the support and financial resources it needs.”
