July 24, 2018 – Though the previous week experience torrential rain and
canceled the Nesconset Summer Concert, concertgoers were out in full force to
see Completely Unchained on Tuesday night. Before the main act the audience was
treated to a stunning rendition of the National Anthem sung by Smithtown’s Ali
Brault. Ali is an extremely talented singer who got her start in Smithtown but
has now taken her talents upstate, where she studies music at the Crane School
of Music.
Completely Unchained rocked the Gazebo with all the classic Van Halen
hits, the Sammy Hagar years, and David Lee Roth’s greatest solo hits. The crowd
was enthusiastic to hear them play, as they relived the glory days of Van
Halen, arguably the greatest Dutch-American heavy metal band.
“Completely Unchained performed a phenomenal upbeat show, and drew a
crowd to the gazebo” said Legislator Leslie Kennedy, “the evening was great and
everyone had a lot of fun. As always the Nesconset Chamber did a wonderful job
of organizing. The band was amazing and Ali, our National Anthem singer was
exquisite”
