SOUND BEACH, NY – On Wednesday, August 29th, Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker welcomed “What’s for Dinnah?” restaurant to Sound Beach. What’s for Dinnah? offers refrigerated and portioned home-made meals to go, to be enjoyed in your home. The owners, Parrie and Irene, are two sisters from Rocky Point who’s passion for cooking inspired them to feed the community the way they feed their own families. The restaurant changes its menu daily, serving a variety of nutritious items such as soups, salads, fresh fish, protein bowls, and Greek specialties. What’s for Dinnah? was opened in honor of Parrie’s son, Chris, who passed away unexpectedly in April 2018.
“It was a pleasure to welcome another family-owned business to Sound Beach,” said Legislator Anker. “I wish Parrie and Irene the best of luck and look forward to joining their effort to further better our community.”
What’s for Dinnah? is located at 291 Echo Avenue in Sound Beach. For more information or to check out its daily menu, please visit www.whatsfordinnah.com or call 631-849-6711.
