HOLBROOK, N.Y. – On Wednesday, September 12th, Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker attended the Retired Seniors Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Suffolk’s 46th Annual Tribute Day at Villa Lombardi’s in Holbrook. The event was held to celebrate the program’s anniversary and to thank its volunteers for another year of service and commitment to the residents of Suffolk County.
“My sincerest congratulations to RSVP on celebrating its 46th Anniversary. Through the hard work, dedication, and generous effort of its volunteers, the program provides great services to residents across Suffolk County by lending a hand to our seniors. I look forward to continuing to work with RSVP in its mission to help those in need,” said Legislator Anker.
"RSVP loves to host this tribute day luncheon each year. It's a wonderful way for us to thank each volunteer for their invaluable service to Suffolk County. Last year their ‘free time’ amounted to 104,000 hours of service,” said RSVP Executive Director Pegi Orsino.
