Flotteron officiated the swearing in of Bay Shore Brightwaters Rescue Ambulances’
(BSBRA) incoming officers during their 60th Anniversary Dinner
celebrated at Captain Bill’s Restaurant in Bay Shore. More than 200 volunteers,
family and community members were in attendance.
Founded
in 1958, BSBRA is a volunteer non-profit organization that provides Emergency
Medical Service to the communities of Bay Shore, Brightwaters, West Bay Shore
and Fire Island. BSBRA responds to approximately 4,000 calls a year for
emergency medical assistance and is separate from Bay Shore Fire Department and
provides all medical care/ rehabilitation care for all fire scenes.
