Legislator Steven J.
Flotteron helped Bay Shore resident, Josephine Moenius, celebrate her 99th
birthday on January 30th during a celebration at the Deer Lake
Senior Center in West Islip. Ms. Moenius is one of the longest attending
members at the Senior Center, attending for the past 35 years. She has lived in
Bay Shore for the past 69 years, having four children, six grandchildren and
six great grandchildren.
“I have known Josephine
for the past 12 years and was honored to be part of her special celebration.
She is always a ray of sunshine at the Community Senior Center,” said
Legislator Flotteron.
